Large forgings production and demand docking exchange meeting and the 12th Annual meeting of large forgings Council successfully concluded

From September 8 to 10, 2024, the Big Forging production and demand docking exchange meeting and the 12th annual meeting of the Big Forging Council was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The meeting was hosted by China Forging Association, and undertook by the rotating chairman of the 12th Big Forging Council Wuhan Heavy Casting & Forging Co., LTD. A total of 54 representatives from 15 council units and 11 customer units attended the meeting. At this meeting, Zhao Xudong, industry research office of China Forging Association, also invited China Power Engineering Consulting Group East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., LTD., CNPC 24 Steel Structure Branch related industry experts to share the future development trend of the power industry.

The meeting was chaired by Zhang Jin, executive Vice chairman and secretary general of China Forging Association. In his speech, Zhang Jin stressed that this exchange is of great significance to promote the supply and demand docking of the large forging industry, and promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading. And from the global perspective, in-depth analysis of the latest scientific research results and technological innovation of free forging technology, elaborated the current dynamic change and competition in the international market, the future development trend of free forging technology was prospectively predicted and analyzed, which provided valuable international vision and forward-looking thinking for this exchange meeting.
