China Forging Association (9th) Aviation Material Forming Technology Branch working conference and technical innovation report successfully held

October 24-26, 2024, China Forging Association (ninth) Aviation Materials Forming Technology Branch (hereinafter referred to as Aviation Materials Branch) work conference and technical innovation report held in Wuxi successfully, from the country's aircraft, engine Ovens, research institutes, raw material factories, forging plants and related supporting enterprises more than 150 representatives attended the meeting. With the theme of "Keeping the original intention in mind, practicing the mission and working together", the conference discussed the development of aircraft and engines, the development direction of superalloy, titanium alloy and aluminum-lithium alloy, and the new forging process and technology.

This conference consists of 11 wonderful reports, while the "Forging and Stamping" aviation special issue was released at the same time, from 23 excellent aviation forging papers selected 5 as excellent papers, and awarded certificates and prizes.

Zeng Fanchang, Executive director of the Branch of the Aviation Materials Committee of China Forging Association, gave a speech and reviewed the development process of the aviation forging industry for decades from scratch and from weak to strong. Zeng Lao pointed out that at present, on hard power, the number and ability of China's aviation forging equipment can be called the world's most, but there is still a certain gap in technology, talent, corporate culture and business philosophy, the upstream and downstream of the entire industry should bear in mind the original heart, practice the mission, and achieve the transformation from forging power to forging power.

Han Mulin, vice chairman of the China Forging Association, delivered a speech and read out the institutional composition of the current aviation materials branch, which was approved by the plenary session. The morning meeting was chaired by Wang Yang, executive deputy director of AVIC International and Aviation Materials Branch, and the afternoon meeting was chaired by CAI Jianming, director general of AVIC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials and Aviation Materials Branch.
