2024 China Advanced Forging Technology, Equipment and Mold integration Technology Seminar was successfully concluded in Shiyan

From October 16 to 18, 2024, the 2024 China Advanced Forging Process, Equipment and Mold integration Technology Seminar was held in Maojian District, Shiyan City. More than 200 forging industry experts, scholars, business leaders, and technical experts from all over the country conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in the forging industry, and jointly witnessed the establishment of Hubei Casting and Forging Industry Technology Research Institute.

This meeting brought a total of 7 wonderful reports from different angles and levels. During the meeting, not only carried out rich academic report exchange activities, but also discussed the development trend of forging technology, equipment and mold integration, as well as the content of production process optimization, forging equipment and forging mold technology. The participants were also organized to visit the vehicle factories of Dongfeng Forging Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. to promote the sharing of experience, the reaching of cooperation consensus and the conclusion of joint contract results.

At 9:00 am, Zhang Jin, executive Vice chairman and Secretary-General of the China Forging Association, gave an opening speech. He mentioned the integration concept of the development of the forging industry at present, advocating the integration of materials, processes, equipment, molds, heat treatment and machining, trying to reduce costs in every link, harmonizing and developing processes to create a complete process chain.

At the opening ceremony, Maojian District forging industry investment project signing activities were also held, "new energy vehicle electric drive shaft tooth processing intelligent factory", "intelligent electric screw production line construction", "multi-direction forging production line and product joint development", "distributed photovoltaic" and other six projects signed cooperation agreements, with a total investment of 1.66 billion yuan.

In order to build a platform for enterprise communication, this conference will hold a small exhibition of advanced technologies and products at the same time, providing sufficient opportunities for face-to-face communication between enterprises. The delegates exchanged warm ideas, which provided an opportunity and paved the way for future negotiations and cooperation.
